NJGOP Chairman Doug Steinhardt released the following statement regarding the future of the GOP brand in New Jersey: . While I appreciate Assemblyman Bramnicks desire to speak out about the direction of our State Party, I think it is important to make clear that he does so as an individual and not on behalf of the NJGOP. Our State Republican Organization is a diverse group of individuals and organizations, with multi-faceted views on a variety of issues. Still, the core principles of the Republican State Committee are to fight for lower taxes and to reduce the intrusion of government into our everyday lives.
Governor Murphys extreme agenda of higher taxes, runaway spending, and giveaways to public employee union bosses at the expense of hardworking taxpayers isnt reasonable, nor is it rational. Now is not the time for us to be passive, nor is it a time to tear down our President or each other, as we work to rebuild and rebrand as the Party of common sense, inclusion and fiscal responsibility. The future of our Party, the affordability of our State, and the quality of our lives are at stake.

New Jersey’s lost...the Republicans should concentrate their efforts...100%...to winning a few House seats.
Sounds like a typical RINO. Talk conservative and walk liberal.
RINO on RINO.
Pitiful to observe.
Oh, the future of the New Jersey republicrat party...
When I first saw the headline I though maybe he had taken up fortune-telling.
The Republican Party has no future.
Trying to staunch the blood flow from a self-inflicted wound.
Trying to out-moderate each other, it is painful to observe.
The GOP could have a future if they started siding with the citizens and the rule of law.
Look how people responded to Trump.
NJ has an exit tax for a reason.
Don't hold your breath.
It’s a shame Tony’s not around any more, he could fix all that.

Is there a Republican Party in New Jersey?
Yes. There is a New Jersey Republican Party.
It is weak because of Christie fatigue and the fact that NJ is trending bluer and bluer, but a Republican can win NJ under right circumstances.
Translation:’Bramnick shouldn’t say that we will let Gov Murphy screw the taxpayers of NJ. We want to do it without anyone knowing.’
Thanks for the laugh.
