It could happen. I’m secure in my hope of Heaven.
One thing that changed everything for me and put many things into a perspective that made most things just “things”.
I lost my husband suddenly in his sleep... married for so many years that I forgot how it was not to be married. Then I got a phone call from my son, who I loved so much and would give my life for) that he had been diagnosed with leukemia. A healthy young man who was the picture of health. I spent 2 1/2 years trying to find a cure for him and save his life. Prayers were going up all around the US. He was in the Houston hospital where they sometimes can perform miracles. That sports announcer was in the same place.. had 3 transplants and none worked. This kind of leukemia they have no cure for. We tried, but it wasn’t to be. He had so much to live for.. he was a talented and wonderful man.. loved by so many. But God said NO and took him to Glory a little over a year ago. His dear wife and I sat beside him continually and I watched him take his last breath. Life will never be the same again for me.. it’s the worst thing a parent can go through.
things that were, are just not important to me any more. But I have small grandsons who are going to live in this country for many years to come. I have a little one who is 5 yrs old and he is the sweetest little boy there is. I don’t want him to live in obama’s world. I want him to be as free as I was growing up before the evil that has been allowed to take over this country. I want him to have the same chances we all had.
That is what I care about.. and I must add.. I care about all those souls that bought the lie and need to be {educated) by Heavenly truths.
Your post was moving, and I believe the future for our grandchildren will be better due to a Trump Presidency. Prayers up for your family, as I am secure in my faith and know the love I have for my family....God bless you abundantly with grace and purpose.

So, so sorry for the loss of your husband and your son. I can’t even imagine walking in your shoes. I will remember them in my prayers in front of the Blessed Sacrament on Monday night.
I too have grandchildren (16 of the little angels) and I have been so fortunate that the worst we have to cope with is a couple have autism.
We all need to keep informed and educate the souls we have been entrusted by God to form. Someday I really believe we are going to be asked what did for them and for our brethren.
