Speculating that possibly part of the Democrats' strategy here is to create protests and complaints by those who receive foodstamps if foodstamps get cut off due to a government shutdown.

I recognize this is a 2015 article here, just theorizing that the same policies discussed may apply, and that this may be part of what the Democrats' end game may be, creating looting, rioting, and or complaints from those who receive foodstamps. Certain urban and rural areas could potentially experience this if food stamps are cut off to their recipients.

Info. I am reading today also mentions it being unclear how the military would get paid after February 1 if the shutdown continues.

>>A government shutdown Oct. 1 could immediately suspend or delay food stamp payments to some of the 46 million Americans who receive the food aid.

The Democrats say its OK and worth the pain to legalize foreign competitors for jobs that Americans need.

Trump should tell congress that he will veto the spending bill if it does not fund the gov’t through Sep 30, does mot fund the complete wall, and if it includes DACA amnesty, chain migration, immigration lotteries, diversity quotas, etc. If Congress wants to override the veto, they will have to come up with two thirds majority in both houses. He should go on TV and throw the ball back into their court and hound them every day on TV until they get it right.

I doubt that it is true, but I hope it is. Once the EBT cards no longer work, we all know what will happen in the inner cities. Win Win.

"suspend or delay food stamp payments to some of the 46 million Americans who receive the food aid. "

That was in 2015, when bozo ruled, when unemployment was high.

What a difference a few years make.

2018. President Trump.

Unemployment is low, jobs are being created.

Food stampers can now go and get a job! They will not starve. They must learn to stop depending on the government because even the government is not dependable.

Now let's discuss the real issue. The Military.

A government shutdown could suspend foodstamps for 46 million Americans

No way. The Dems will find a way to hand out the freebies in order to buy more votes.

I did a little research earlier and at the time of that shutdown they had not done appropriations. If they did Appropriations last year then Food Stamps are OK.

All
DJT needs to do is cut costs by 15% and Feds run cash flow positive.

Anyone think Trump will have a hard time cutting 15% without hurting regular Americans ?

Anyone think Trump hasn’t been planning for this since day 1 ?

That’s why he has Carl Ichan on board

It would be terrible if food stamp recipients had use their drug money to buy food.

You mean some of those no loads will actually have to get a job? Now that is a plus for the shutdown.
