I broke 7 ribs and bruised a lung when i was 68. Its a bitch.
Broken ribs don’t really hurt that much unless you try to move, talk or breathe. If you can avoid doing all three of those things for 6-8 weeks then recovery is a breeze...

Senators used to duel. But the catch was, you had to be another senator to do it.
Paul had ear protection on while mowing the lawn. At the time of the attack Paul was standing with his back to the Rat. Apparently the liberal squish blindsided Paul from behind with his shoulders into the senator’s ribs. Typical Democrat tactics blindsided, from behind.

Tell me about it. Coughing is fun too. Sleeping sitting up for a couple of months kind of helps.
That has been journalistic practice for quite some time. The First Amendment gives a lot of protection from threat of lawsuit against the press. One of the few times a plaintiff may prevail is if they are labeled as a criminal, and a conviction does not occur. Thank you.
I think probably back then senators tried to be a little more cordial vs now, those dueling pistols were hazardous to their health. :)
That is exactly what I thought I had read, but this article says Paul was stacking brush.
Remember, some leftists were saying the attack occurred because the guy was mad at Paul for blowing leaves and lawn clippings onto his property but were refuted by the entire HOA and the other neighbors. I think this article is written the way it is to generate some form of sympathy for the attacker.
Hopefully as well the civil claim has been filed. Would be a huge claim against the liberal schmuck.
