WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democratic Senate leader Chuck Schumer met with President Donald Trump at the White House on Friday to search for ways to avert a U.S. government shutdown, but Schumer said afterward that disagreements remained as the clock ticks toward a midnight deadline to pass a funding bill.

And now Fox is reporting that Trump and Schumer discussed a continuing resolution to simply fund the government through the weekend and into next week.
That was what I figured it was going to be about.
Trump is not going to let Schmucky Schumer jam him up.

They care more for the Illegal alien invasion’s children than they do their own constituents.

Of course they discussed it. Schumer was blabbering on about it last night on the Senate floor. It made him emotional. He brought it up at the meeting and Fox is reporting it. So what?
Once the government shutdown happens, the American people will realize that life still goes on and the apocalypse the Dems have been promising is not true. I say, shut it down. The Repubs have the better argument.

They need this to distract from the continuing information coming out on Hillary’s emails as well as the release of the memo which is supposed to occur by moth end.
They desperately need something to point at and say what about this.
I hope Trump said something to him, like, “...Chuckie, I can’t believe you are selling out our military and all American citizens, just to help out illegals....”
Then Chuckie could have said YES or NO.
Then Trump could tweet that the Dems have succeeded in shutting down the government in favor of illegals.
Then the MSM could report endlessly through the weekend, about what a cruel and evil person Trump is.

I believe President Trump has quite a few of the same type of advisors.... I am hoping he trusts his own instincts and sticks to his promises about illegals.
Reagan said the Amnesty Bill was the biggest mistake of his presidency and no, he did not have Alzheimer’s, as his own handwritten diary proved. That was just another Democrat dirty trick. They recently tried the same dirty trick on Trump. Didn’t work this time either.
We did not have a budget period under Obama, were you equally upset?
On another note he seemed able to pull money out of his arse when ever he wanted to fund a bunch of commies or muzzles. I guess hid his stash well because Trump hasn't found it yet.
