I’m pretty sure the president can declassify just about anything.
If the report from the House Intelligence Committee became declassified, then any of the feisty Republicans in Congress who wanted this to be released could simply release it.
You wouldn’t need the president to do the releasing.
Doesn’t matter who releases what. The report will eventually be leaked by somebody.
If it is this bad, the memo will NEVER be released.
We all know, deep in our hearts—no matter what is right or proper—they will never cut their own throats.
I wish that were not the case...but it is.
