That’s a shot across the bow. Sessions needs to return fire. The government of California is in rebellion. It can’t stand.
Definitely going to Supreme Court. A state has no say over immigration laws. Ca law is void on its face.
Why notify any CA “local jurisdictions” about the pendancy of any impending raid, since they've already indicated they're not going to assist in any way.
It’s laughable. Immigration is an enumerated responsibility in the Constitution and it’s not the States that decide it’s policy.
I know what I would do. I would test the shit out of the law and every agency head who hindered Federal Requests would be arrested and charged with aiding, abetting and obstruction of Justice.
I would force CEO to choose. Go to jail or cooperate.

Imagine being an employer stuck in the middle of this: If you don’t screen your employees/verify eligibility for employment you violate federal laws, while if you cooperate with federal law enforcement you violate state law.
