Let them shut it down, then while the "non-essentials" are out, terminate them and shutter their departments.

We aren’t called “essential” or “non-essential” any more. There are those who keep working for national security, and those whose work can sit in the inbox for a few weeks without the world stopping. It doesn’t mean the work can be put off indefinitely; eventually it needs to get done.

That’s not to say there’s no fat in the government...there absolutely is.

It looks like Gramesty has sided with the illegal alien invaders over the U.S. military. Military personnel need to remember this.

Looking at this another way, it's the dems and rinos re-starting a version of “slavery”.

Bringing foreign people here...housing them, schooling them, feeding them, all for what? Well, in slavery it was a one-time payment for cheap labor....but these days, it's continuous payment for cheap labor.

Dems want it. Rinos want it. The US Chamber of Commerce wants it. Not to mention most elitist liberals.

The lower paying, $h/+ jobs can be passed down to the cheap labor brigade. Americans then get higher paying jobs...just like during slavery.

The unsuspecting bank of neuvo-slaves will enjoy the best lives every, be paid for it, and have stylish housing, free education, and even...a car, or two.

The “auction block” is now the Congress of the the United States...by granting the new wards everything they need to live, it's a bidding process for...yep...the cheapest labor.

In return for this, the only serious “indenturement” required is to always vote democrat. That's it! No monetary paybacks, and in most cases, not taxation, whatsoever.

The affected ($h/_+Hole) countries love it, they get rid of the poorest that affect their countries, and the ex-pats send hoards of American dollars home to pump up their economy (dictators coffers).

So, it's just really “Modified Slavery”, a form of insurance for a future of socialistic and oppressive dictators taking over our “land of the free”.

I've seen their plan to turn Red states to Blue, using these dreamers, for a democrat future. And with a gimme a free living plan, they'll multiply exponentially, beginning with their entire “extended families” and their spouses’ “extended families”.

What then? Well, then...our Grandchildren will also be living in a $h1+Hole country.

Make no mistake....it's not a refugee plan, it's an INVASION. America is about to start downhill at a rapid pace.

I'm 72, and I could say, “well...not much skin off my nose”...but it is for my kids, my grandkids, and great-great, etc.

Our great-great-great-great grandparents risked their lives, and fortunes, for us...should be do the same?

Yup! Shut it down and send the Fools on the Hill home. No pay, no kickbacks, no bribes until the government reopens.

Linda forgets how much Trump’s budget cut his pet state department. Does he really think that will be funded by the admin before what Trump wants?

I don’t think the 9th Circus Court is essential. Money for that court especially should be curtailed. Instantly.

Amen! Shut it down. This hurts the RATs running for re-election this year and moves the GOP to a 20 seat majority in the senate.

The United States Senate is the most corrupt, treasonous institution in the history of United States...even considering the current DOJ and FBI.

A dream: a Constitutional Amendment is adopted eliminating the U.S. Senate as currently constituted.

Methinks Trump doesn’t take kindly to threats. I hope he takes them on and let’s them “shut down” the government. Quite frankly, the military is the only department worth funding anyhow.
