I am a retired Army Officer. I can tell you Officers have allegiance to those who make their career, Obama in Kelly’s case, McMaster and Mattis too. Trump is a convenience for these guys who show him no loyalty whatsoever. Why he puts up with it is a huge mystery to me. They are doing everything they can to ensure he loses in 2020.
I like when he calls it The Great Wall.
Simple. Kelly is not a Trump man. Obama is his guy.
Meanwhile Kelly stays on next to Trump and the swamp maintains its level and edge.

Kelly is engaging in some of the same freelance opinionating by Trump staffers that he was hired to prevent.
General, nobody elected you. You are the President’s servant. If you don’t like the positions he was elected for, then get the hell out. You are not indispensable, and you are not the guy in charge. Your four stars mean nothing now.
The President was elected on primarily one issue - stop illegal immigration. If you have your own opinions of that issue and its components - the wall, DACA amnesty, enforcement, chain migration, birth citizenship - go run for the office yourself.
Otherwise, the only thing we want to hear from you is “Yes, Sir”.

I saw Kelly’s interview... I was NOT impressed with him.
I thank the president for “publicly” putting him in his place after Kelly overstepped his boundaries.
Again, FW, who cares what Kelly says or doesn’t say? The one to watch is the President. And you can’t take what he says literally because he’s often purposely misleading. You must watch what he does. And what he’s doing looks good to me. This Wall thing was never going to be easy.
Trump did not win by many votes. Every step and misstep he (or his administration) makes is jumped on by the media and pounded into a very ignorant public’s ears. And very possibly will translate into losing votes.
