President Donald Trump corrected his Chief of Staff John Kelly after he said that the president had “evolved” on the wall. “There’s been an evolutionary process that this president has gone through,” Kelly said in an interview with Fox News host Bret Baier, pointing out that Trump had “very definitely changed his attitude” towards DACA recipients and the wall.
But Trump pushed back on Twitter against the suggestion that he had evolved on the wall.
“The Wall is the Wall, it has never changed or evolved from the first day I conceived of it,” Trump said.

You were a step ahead of me on Sessions. As I said before, I thought it was a good move at the time. There had been warning signs, but it’s true that Sessions had been out in front when it came to supporting Trump. Yet given his big chance, he blew it spectacularly and catastrophically. History will not treat him well.

Nearly two years ago in February of 2016, he said on Fox News that how the wall was constructed was “negotiable” and said, “we need 1,000 of the 2,000” border miles to be a physical barrier.

Trump published the following memo DURING THE CAMPAIGN (March 2016) on ideas on how to pay for the wall.
Sessions can afford to do piddly stuff. His big job—recusing himself, allowing Rosenstein to appoint Mueller and give him unlimited scope and a bottomless checkbook—is done.
I wish it was sarcasm, but that’s the way it looks from here.
