I hate the term post-modern.

Modern:
ADJECTIVE

1.of or relating to the present or recent times as opposed to the remote past:
synonyms: present-day · contemporary · present · current · twenty-first-century

Post-modern is the future.

I always thought it was a dumb term too, but it is not about a time period. It is about a different cultural norm. In other words, what is “post modern” can exist in the “modern era”.

If I remember correctly, the term was first used to describe a type of painting that came after impressionism. Impressionism was considered modern. What came after it would be after modern, post modern.

Postmodernism is a philosophy. It is the philosophy that modern leftism is grounded in.

From Wikipedia...

Postmodern philosophy is a philosophical direction which is skeptical of certain foundational assumptions of Western philosophy, of the 18th-century Enlightenment, and of philosophy in general.[1] It questions the importance of power relationships, personalization, and discourse in the “construction” of truth and world views. Postmodernists deny that an objective reality exists, and deny that there are objective moral values. One’s idea of good and another’s idea of evil are to be equally valid from the viewpoint of a postmodernist.[2][1]
