Me too. We used to own the same kind of car they had. It was a real beater, with an engine like a rocket. Loved it. Cost a whole $300. My husband drove it for several years when we were first married and had no money. No one ever parked by us. It was rust colored - because it was rusty. We drilled a Thunderbird hood ornament into the hood. We still have that. Good times.

:) I still have to watch it whenever it shows up on TV. Know it by heart now.

So many of the SNL people from back when SNL was funny.

The Bluesmobile in the Blues Brothers 2000 was a 1990 Ford LTD Crown Victoria. I owned an 88 Crown Vic which I used to commute with. It sported a 5 liter V-8 which got 30 MPG and was running fine when I sold it at 257,000 miles.
