The Bluesmobile in the Blues Brothers 2000 was a 1990 Ford LTD Crown Victoria. I owned an 88 Crown Vic which I used to commute with. It sported a 5 liter V-8 which got 30 MPG and was running fine when I sold it at 257,000 miles.
We drove our Blues Mobile until it could go no more. Of course it was pretty old when we got it for a whole 300 bucks. That engine was a huge V-8 rocket. Loved to accelerate onto the highways in that thing! Fun car.
