Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) said Friday she will not attend President Trump’s first State of the Union address following his vulgar remarks aimed at Haiti, El Salvador and African nations.
“Why would I take my time to go and sit and listen to a liar?” Waters said on MSNBC’s “All In with Chris Hayes.” “Someone who lies in the face of facts, someone who can change their tune day in and day out. What does he have to say that I would be interested in?"

The real question is: “What does Maxine think that she’ll actually accomplish by doing this stunt?”
IMHO, the answer is, “Nothing.” Those against Trump will still be against him, those for him will still be for him, and those on the fence are not going to change their views one way or the other because a corrupt, stupid, political hack like Maxine says or does anything. So, IOW, this is just a temper tantrum...which matches her emotional age, and nearly her mental age.
Maxine will not be allowed in the State of the Union.
Her constituents elected her and pay her to represent them in official government business. The State of the Union speech is such business. Maxine has chosen to take the entitlement route and not work for the title or money she gets from the government to do her job. She is, therefore, a societal leech who refuses to do the work she was hired to do.
