Yesterday, Eliza Dushku published her account of having been molested during the shooting of the movie “True Lies,” in which I played her mother. She had shared that story with me privately a few years ago. I was shocked and saddened then and still am today.
We have all started to awaken to the fact that the terrible abuses now commonplace in daily news reports have been going on for a very long time. Unconscionably, those reports frequently come along with claims by the perpetrators that, as adults, those perpetrated against had some part in it.

According to Dushku, Kramer groomed her with flattery and special attention until, one day, he “lured” her to his Miami hotel room, took off all his clothes, lay Dushku on the bed, and rubbed himself against her (dressed) until he orgasmed. Kramer was 36 at the time of the alleged encounter.[62]
Well if she shared it with you several years ago why are we just now hearing about it?

About 5 minutes ago, I completed an online youth sexual abuse training for a ministry I’m involved in. We have to retake the training every two years.
Depending on the jurisdiction, Jamie Lee Curtis may have committed a crime. In many states, ANY adult with knowledge of child sexual abuse is REQUIRED BY LAW to report it.
She failed. But man, she feels good lecturing us that we’re all culpable.
She knew of these assaults years ago and said NOTHING.

The Casting Couch is a commonly known thing in Hollywood, even for people who have never worked there. It is even pictured in movies, for crying out loud! So, what are they suddenly awakening to?
The sexual harassment and outright attacks aren’t the tragedy. Those will continue as long as there are people who will do anything to be a star. In the Hollywood mind, the tragedy is that they are turning on each other. In Hollywood, politics, and academia, the crime is never the problem. The only problem is that one of them broke ranks and talked and the common practices got out into the public ear.
These people are the highest order of hypocrites ever seen because of their narcissism and the American people’s slavish idolatry of them.
I can’t believe she said all that, and didn’t really provide any information. I’m not familiar with Dushkus’ claims or the person she claims did things to her.
Wouldn’t it seem natural to mention what she’s referencing?
Instead you get some vague references, and more of the same. Nobody talks, including Jamie.

Eliza supposedly did not tell her mother all details when she was 12 . But who from the set can verify the “Jailbait” name Eliza claims?

I told my son, when he was in grade school, that any adult touching him in his private areas was doing something very bad. And if that happened to anyone he knew, that the child was NEVER to blame. The adult was ALWAYS to blame. Some adult are really creepy people and have to be prosecuted for their actions. Hollywood seems to have an inordinately high number of creepy adults.
