WASHINGTON, DC President Donald Trumps decision to keep the United States in the Iran nuclear deal on Friday was coupled with a warning to his European allies: Fix the deals disastrous flaws, or the United States will withdraw. Despite my strong inclination, I have not yet withdrawn the United States from the Iran nuclear deal. Instead, I have outlined two possible paths forward: either fix the deals disastrous flaws, or the United States will withdraw, Trump said in a statement.
He added:
I am waiving the application of certain nuclear sanctions, but only in order to secure our European allies agreement to fix the terrible flaws of the Iran nuclear deal. This is a last chance. In the absence of such an agreement, the United States will not again waive sanctions in order to stay in the Iran nuclear deal. And if at any time I judge that such an agreement is not within reach, I will withdraw from the deal immediately.
To drive the point home, Trump said, No one should doubt my word. I said I would not certify the nuclear dealand I did not. I will also follow through on this pledge.

He gives Europe a chance to work on this or he bails us out of it. Actually better than just doing it right now. The dif with this PRES, the Europeans will know he means it ... and fix it, or forfeit their right to complain.

What was going through my mind is a repeat of the campaigns that all ran on REPEALING Obamacare and then when the rubber meets the road the mantra becomes "We need to repair obamacare" - why must the GOPee when they have taken over from Insane#44 have to fix everything? Just walk away from it - no fixing if it is indeed the worst deal America has ever entered into.

Lots of what Trump says/does causes some a bit of consternation - it has always (so far) panned out that he was in full control of the situation and aware that everything has its proper time.
