“...recommending US citizens accused of terrorism...”
Congress should pass a law that deprives any citizen who commits terrorism of their citizenship. They should be tried before a military tribunal, executed and cremated - with their ashes scattered in a pig sty.
Eventually they would become bacon.
Bacon is good.
For weeks there have been lots of rumors that Gitmo is being prepared for an influx of new high profile prisoners. An M.P. contingent from the Arizona National Guard has just been sent to Gitmo. Apparently both Sessions and Mattis have visited there recently. I read somewhere that a pre-fab building new attorney client rooms have been requested. Ive also read the last national defense authorization bill contained explicit provisions allowing for indefinite civilian detention and trials in military courts under certain conditions. Is all of this connected and does it mean anything significant?
That's PRESIDENT Donald Trump, you degenerate commie scribbler.
Beria would approve of this argument
“Ahmed Ghailani, an al Qaeda terrorist who bombed U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, killing 224 people, received a “near-total acquittal,” ... Ghailani, in this case a non-citizen.”!

What... the... Frak!
CNN fake news. Or poor research, one of the two. In Ex Parte Milligan the Supreme Court ruled that U.S. citizens could not be tried by military tribunals if the civilian courts were operating freely. That hasn’t changed.
