The illegals get welfare assistance, e.g., medicaid and food stamps, thru their US born children who are citizens at birth eligible for all the benefits that accrue to US citizenship.

I'm sure that's the law but where does it end? How do we afford to keep buying votes for the dems with little or no money in the budget?

Where does it end?

To me the dems have set up the DACA BS scenario while totally ignoring the overriding issue which is that we do not have an immigration policy in the US and we desperately need one.

Sen Bennett of Colorado on mtp with F.Chuck just said; "we haven't had a budget in ten years" as if it's the Republicans fault.!!

As log as we let the dems lie their way out of issue after issue we will keep losing. Sooner or later the light of truth has to be the rule instead of the exception.

We do have an immigration policy based on existing laws. The problem is that we are not enforcing those laws. That said, we do need to change some of our polices to reduce the unneeded flow of immigrants. Going to a merit based system will solve a lot of problems along with better enforcement that includes a border wall, mandatory e-verify, the elimination of the diversity visa lottery program, eliminating the problem of visa overstays, and an end to chain migration.

I agree. If we don't drastically reduce legal immigration, the Dems will be the permanent majority party within a decade. Demography is destiny.
