BP 129/78, A1C 5.7. Recent EKG shows no problems. Heart in great shape. Both HDL and LDL in normal range.

78 and at LEAST 50 over.....still work (drive - at my own pace as to how much) regularly only ‘med’ I take is an aspiring now and again...
Last contact with Medical Profession was in 2007 when I underwent Cataract Surgery, my first REAL interaction with that Community since 1959 - other than a few Physicals for reenlistment and discharge.
At my physical for pre cataract surgery my cholesterol levels pinging center line - I have a ‘see food diet’ and don’t watch anything.
I admit I am ‘different’ than most but in 1991 I gave up - COLD TURKEY, 4 packs of Regular Camels and about a case & half of beer daily—plus a shot or two and other different ‘shooters’....
I was no crazier than usual.
I don’t recommend my actions to anyone BUT for someone who really didn’t expect to see 30, I feel that I am living on ‘good time’ for an extra ‘50’ years and haven’t really changed anything - since the beer & cig event.
