Unnamed sources are once again claiming president Trump said outrageous things, including calling Haiti and parts of Africa "shi*holes." No one is sure this actually happened, but it sounds true, so the Washington Post ran with it. But it brings up an interesting point. Are we allowed to point out that there are places in the world that are not ideal, or are we pretending all countries are equal? This seems demonstrably ridiculous, yet the left is acting super-offended at the suggestion that some countries are shi*hole-ish.
...
This doesn't explain why the elite don't vacation in Haiti and Cape Town.
The following is my list of shi*holes I never want to visit, in no particular order.
1. Haiti A quick search of Haitian vacations found that a person could have a full week in Haiti for $600, airfare included. If that isn't a screaming red flag, I don't know what is. The reason it's so cheap is that you have a high likelihood of never returning. If you don't get murdered, you will probably get a disease.

“I retraced his trip beginning at Fort Detroit and stood on the bank of Loon Lake, and I crossed the Flint and Cass rivers.
It was a good trip.”

What an incredible experience, good for you.
I’ve never been to Michigan——and from everything that I’ve heard it sounds beautiful.
A son-in-law is determined to get to Mackinac Island some day,and I’m sure that he will.

I’ve done lots of camping in Michigan. It is really nice.
In some ways it isn’t. There’s a vibrant culture there, believe it or not. Anyway, there’s no convincing someone who doesn’t want to be convinced.
You don’t want to know.
What about the garden spots of Yemen and Cuba?
Detroit bottomed out and is on the way back, other cities will find themselves eventually where Detroit was.
I’m trying to think of a Republican-run “$***hole” town or city. NYC was excellent when it had a Republican mayor (Giuliani).
Wow Im surprised to hear that. Ive always loved that area. Some really beautiful places in there. Theres a Frank Lloyd Wright concrete house in there somewhere. Ive been to it but dont remember where. Also a famous murder house Ive been by. I had a cousin out from Arkansas and she wanted to do some Hollywood sight seeing so I took her to Graumans, etc and then while driving to the Griffith Park Observatory, so she could see the sign, we did a couple of fun things for her.
Im sad to hear that are has gone down so much.
Strange world. Looks like Gloria Allreds daughter, Lisa Bloom, bought the Los Felix murder house on Glendower.
I think you mean to say, “But then I contradict myself”. AFAICT
S#!tholes bump for later...
The Indian culture is influenced by the religious notion of reincarnation. This life could be a living hell, but do not be concerned. There is another life you will live that may be much better. So, if there is a problem, if another is in need of help, do not bother. The world can go to hell but, in some future time, life will be Utopia.
Do you mean the La Bianca house over on Waverly? Its not only not there but theyve changed the street number from 3310 Waverly to 3340 Waverly or something. The original house was torn down completely many years ago and the entire property is completely different. I hear theres really weird stuff going on there still.
OK, I just googled the LF Murder House - never heard of it.
You should have a look at what's around Newark airport.
I wasn’t quoting anything.
Give him time - he will outdo himself ;’}
I answered: A person convinced against their will is of the same opinion still.
My opinion of Newark remains despite your trying to convince me otherwise.
So I simply answered you conviction of Newark.
No, you said “it goes,” as if I misquoted something.
Mom! Somebody is wrong on the Internet!
