Encouraged by generous government tax credits, about one-third of Norwegians drive zero-emission electric cars many of them American-made Teslas.
But of course. To a socialist the only solution involves other peoples money.
Obviously these Norwegians would not drive these cars if they were not being paid to do so. Thats nothing to be proud of. Just government intervention
Probably the wrong person to be pitching it to.
Trump, being a rational, normal, astute, shrewd businessman told her to shove global warming up her Norwegian arse.
Norway is planning to pull the plug on its wildly successful electric-car incentives
By Eshe Nelson

...Over the years, Norway has offered enticing subsides and other perks to encourage people to buy electric cars, such as no city tolls, free parking, free charging, and permission to drive in bus lanes. In February, the number of electric cars in Norway surpassed 100,000.
The Norwegian government has been considering ways to curb the incentives for a while, amid criticisms that the perks allow rich households to buy pricey Teslas cheaply and significantly increase congestion in the capital, Oslo.
A proposal, presented as part of next years budget, has been put forward to remove a tax exemption on electric vehicles that weigh more than two metric tons.
The move has been dubbed the Tesla tax, as its most likely to effect the American companys models, particularly the Tesla Model X, an SUV. There are more than 13,000 registered Teslas in Norway, according to data from the national statistics office. The tax would increase the cost of buying a new Tesla X by about 70,000 kroner ($8,850), local media said (link in Norwegian).
Here is the result of giving away money and generous perks to the rich:
What a LIE that Norwegians are "saving the planet." If they really wanted to do that, they wouldn't live in a frozen wasteland that requires building heating ten months of the year.
I love how they term Norways chief export 55% of their GDP as Organic Chemicals and Mineral fuels... In other words OIL. The primary culprit in their imaginary global warming scare mongering.
Remember all your friends and neighbors who got those high-paying Green Jobs while Obama was in office?
Neither do I.
Norway is a nation of smug climate hypocrites. Without North Sea oil and gas, which it happily exports at huge profits, its socialist government would collapse. Meanwhile it has tremendous resources for hydroelectric power generation and it limits immigration. With its small population and "clean" power resources it will be easy for it to meet the Paris limits while still enjoying a high standard of living and enjoying a sense of moral superiority over the rest of us.
I'd be dishonest not to mention I'm convinced CO2 has little or no effect on atmospheric warming. It's all a big propaganda campaign as most here know, designed to destroy capitalism and redistribute resources under a UN world government run by unelected tyrannical bureaucrats.
“Encouraged by generous government tax credits,”
There’s your so-called “Green Economy” in a nutshell.
Norway is combatting climate change”
Brought about by the feel-good immigration of thousands of muslim animals who changed the climate of the country for everyday Norwegians in drastic ways.
No one is stopping anyone from p*ssing their cash away on a green business.
It just isn’t going to mandated into law to force everyone to be stupid.
An interesting turn of phrase by Ken Thomas who is known to have had his stinky diapers changed by a woman before becoming an AP political 'reporter'.
I remember all of the times when the AP's crack 'reporter' Ken Thomas wrote during the failed Obama administration with wording similar to 'the community-agitator-without-a-legitimate-birth-certificate-turned-president'.
Well, actually I don't...
The AP is a bad joke, and Ken Thomas is vying for the title of AP's clown-in-chief (but he has stiff competition for that dubious honor)...
I hope she’ll be very happy.....
OK, greens, explain how we can keep our standard of living by gutting our energy production. And you can start by going off the grid yourselves.
Let's bring in more of those Scandinavians!
If we should question the idea that President Trump said a certain word, I also wonder if he actually said what he's alleged to have said about having more Norwegian immigrants.
Maybe the truth about what he said remains to be told, but leftists have often said before that Europeans are more sophisticated than Americans--too many of which cling to their guns and religion. Why, then, shouldn't we make America a bit more European?
