The second step is a lawsuit calling for five major oil companies — BP, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Exxon Mobil and Royal Dutch Shell — to compensate New York for damages from climate change.
Dear BP, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Exxon Mobil and Royal Dutch Shell,
You need to Immediately do everything in your power to mitigate any potential losses from this lawsuit and do what is necessary to eliminate any Conflict of Interest between you and the State of New York
STOP ALL SHIPMENTS AND SALES OF YOUR PRODUCTS TO NEW YORK!!
Let them all freeze to death in the name of Global Warming.

Hurricanes come in cycles and forest fires just happen. So the premise of this story is false.; that all of it can be blamed on Humans.
Remember, the target of the Climate Change folks is Not to fix the environment but to get control through Socialism and Communism. And to tell you what you can eat/drink and do.

The "fearsome price" we're paying is for all those research grants.

Climate justice? Secure the oil. Don’t export it. Build the wall.

Scientists have shown that human-induced climate change has greatly increased the frequency and intensity of such disasters. That is simply false. There is no increase in the frequency or intensity of hurricanes.

The only fearsome price I’ve paid for Global Warming is snowfall measured in feet, temperatures in the single digits, and negative wind chill numbers.

“climate justice”
Justice with any qualifier is qualified justice.

Americans are paying a fearsome price for global warming. The federal government's National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration reported earlier this week that the three powerful Atlantic hurricanes of 2017 -- Harvey, Irma and Maria -- cost Americans $265 billion, and massive Western forest fires another $18 billion. Scientists have shown that human-induced climate change has greatly increased the frequency and intensity of such disasters...And your proof of these claims is??
I'm calling BS until proof that can be believed is produced. Waiting...
Hint: The sun causes global warming.

Because there were no Hurricanes or Forest Fires before POTUS Trump became President.
Just like there were no Homeless People.

It would be fun to watch if those major oil companies were to stop shipping gas to New York’s gas stations..........
