I voted for Trump, and support his policies. I want him to be re-elected. That said, this was a mistake, and one he can rectify with an apology. He can say this was an off the record and frank policy discussion ( he had a point, actually) and he believes this reference was inappropriate.
He has nothing to loose by doing this. It is pointless simply defending everything he does just for the point of defending him. Everyone looses credibility.
When you state the TRUTH, there is no apology necessary.
Have you ever been to any of those SH!THOLE countries?
I HAVE, and they are sh!tholes.
I think you are losing your creds not Trump.
Everyone looses credibility.

Well tighten it up.
No apology for truth.
The Prez only Lost credibility with Liberals and Moderates.
Easy to be a Moderate.. you don’t have to put yourself on the line but you can “Virtue Signal” all over the place and go to bed feeling REALLY good about being a “Good Person”.
;)
You’re the one who has lost credibility. Freedom of speech has practically been eliminated in this country due to snowflakes like yourself. The TRUTH is that these countries and many more I can name ARE exactly as President Trump described them. He has absolutely no need to apologize to anyone for stating the unequivocal truth.
He has nothing to loose by doing this. It is pointless simply defending everything he does just for the point of defending him. Everyone looses credibility.
I wholeheartedly agree—and I'm one of the President's most ardent supporters.
If the President made such comments, they were a mistake—not because they were inaccurate, but because they were gratuitous, and likely to be taken the wrong way by certain constituencies.
The President should apologize when an apology is appropriate, and as a Christian, I believe it is appropriate in this case.
