The revolution will be televised, thats the word coming down from NBC executives who say they will televise any player who chooses to protest the anthem during the Super Bowl. When you are covering a live event, you are covering whats happening, NBC Sports EP Fred Gaudelli told reporters at the Television Critics Association on Tuesday.
If there are players who choose to kneel, they will be shown live, he said.
Gaudelli explained that, if a player chose to protest during the anthem, NBC broadcasters Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth would likely give the playerss name, some background on the a protests, and then get on with the game.
According to Fox News, The anthem will be aired live and is scheduled to be performed by Pink. Potential protesters will have an opportunity to make a statement in front of a massive audience, as 112.2 million people watched Super Bowl LI last season the fifth most-watched program in television history.
The NFLs anthem protest movement began in the preseason of 2016, when then-49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick first sat, then knelt, in protest against police brutality. Kaepernick continued his protest throughout the 2016 season, but has not suited-up for another NFL team since walking away from his contract in San Francisco at the end of that year.
Despite Kaepernicks absence in 2017, the protest movement he began continued without him. Increasing in intensity during Week 3 of the season, after President Trump blasted the protesting players at a political rally. During that weekend over 200 players, executives, and coaches, protested the anthem and President Trump.

[Sounds like advertisers may be going political, too.]
Oh good, they’ll go SJW, too? I may need to purchase popcorn to snack on during the backlash.
Yes!
Well, considering I won’t be watching, Who Cares.....
[Another nail in the coffin...]
Yes
I won’t be watching, either. Last one I think I watched was Green Bay vs. whomever years ago.
The publicity will be given to kneegros playing professional black ball
If either the Jags or the Titans somehow survive against the Steelers and the Patriots, then the NFL will have an excuse for the reduced viewership. They will blame it on the fact that Jacksonville and Nashville are "small market" teams, so there is less of a fan base to watch.
Of course, it will be B.S., but the lemmings will lap it up. The same people who believe the "fact" that, if President Trump is removed from office, then Hitlery becomes President.
Bread and circuses, without the bread.
They can show what they want to. Wont be watching the THUG BOWL this year. Maybe never again.
UP YOURS ADVERTISERS!!!
Did Colin Kaepernick used to be “He Hate Me”?
(just kidding)
Wow, it’s like NBC wants them to do it so they can continue to shove their underlying communist narrative down our throats.
These traitors want their brand of communism so bad they’ll tear down any institution to try to get it. Screw that, we just need to continue to expose these a-holes for who they really are.

Pussy hats? Twerking? Smoking blunts while dissin the man?

Die NFL die.
Never do. and will. I meant what I say as a man. Unlike some lying hypocrite Freepers wHo say they boycott but you see them on the NFL THREADS.
The Fantastic Bowl coming in future: Folsom vs Leavenworth. (EX NFL players)
We won’t be watching the super bowl, just like previous years so who cares. We were done with the nfl and sports broadcasts way back yonder.
bump to that!
Do not watch the Super Bowl. Visit San Diego instead. San Diego is ground zero for hatred of the NFL. If you hate the NFL you will have plenty of company in San Diego and there are a lot of fun things to do there instead of sitting on your a** watching those thugs.
I quit when the Rams let me down against the Steelers.
Will they show their fat guts hanging over their waists?
