The new printer I bought last year was cheaper at Office Max than Amazon by a good bit
If people bothered to shop around, the Amazon hype would end.

I use amazon like a catalog to find what I want, then shop the interent. Always I get a better deal elsewhere and I am not supporting the evil Bezos.

But it is hard to beat the convenience of Amazon and the instant gratification.

Thanks, but I’ll continue to eschew malls full of ‘teens,’
the chance my car will get plowed into getting there, and finding out what I want is not even stocked. Amazon isn’t hype. They perform as advertised.

If people bothered to shop around, the Amazon hype would end. True. Most people don't know Best Buy will match Amazon's price at the register. Clerk can do it on their own, no waiting for a manager for "special approval"... it just happens.
