Fusion GPS Admits They Used John McCain to Pass Anti-Trump Dossier to Obama-Era Intel Agencies

EILAT, Israel — The founders of the controversial opposition research firm Fusion GPS admitted that they helped the researcher hired to compile the infamous, largely discredited 35-page dossier on President Donald Trump to share the document with Sen. John McCain.

The goal of providing the dossier to McCain, the Fusion GPS founders explained, was to pass the information contained in the questionable document to the U.S. intelligence community under the Obama administration.

It doesn’t pass the laugh test. The FBI already had a copy of the document. And Ohr’s wife worked for Fusion GPS. McCain was just a useful idiot giving cover to Fusion GPS and the FBI.

It’s getting pretty wild this afternoon. Hannity and Sara Carter are now saying (on radio) that they have sources saying the dossier was used in part to obtain FISA warrants and that the House Intelligence Committee is in possession of the applications for the warrants, and the warrants, also.

Maybe the facts will shake out in the next few days.

Agree. There are so many conflicting media reports and bogus stories, it is hard to sort it all out. On Friday, Nunes saw the dossier materials and the supporting documents for the putative FISA warrant(s). Perhaps this is the source for Sara's report.

The fact that Feinstein unilaterally leaked the Fusion GPS testimony with the FBI contacts redacted indicates to me that the noose is tightening. Feinstein is assisting upcoming witnesses to ensure that their stories align with Simpson's. She should be at least censured by Grassley. This was outrageous.
