He’ll bounce back in some other endeavor, eventually
He’s too smart to fade away
Just needs to go away for a while to meditate on controlling his ego

He’ll probably announce his candidacy for a Senate race somewhere.

I was listening to Bannon this morning and yesterday (only for my 15 minute commute to the bus stop).

I have to say, listening to Bannon try to retake his morning radio slot and interviewing regulars like Dan Gainor (MRC), I much preferred how Alex Marlow handled the helm. Bannon was always interrupting the callers and guests to push a point, while Marlow always let the guest make his or her own point and then commented and dialoged.

I definitely think that Marlow and Raheem Kassam made for better radio in Bannon's absence.

What makes you think he is smart?

He’s too smart to fade away.

For a smart guy, I can’t imagine how he thought talking to a gossip writer like Wolff was a good idea.

You can’t be stupid and work for Goldman Sachs, or get Seinfeld money.

Hopefully a safe Democratic seat so he can’t blow a sure thing.

Maybe Steve Bannon was the mole inside the Trump campaign mentioned in the Fusion GPS guy’s testimony that was just released today ... and the whole lid is going to be blown off that story.

Bounce back to what? Kathy Griffins sidekick? Become a regular on The View?

The man was close to the president at one point. The only place he'll be bouncing is into obscurity.

Alcohol induced motor mouth perhaps? Maybe he’s one of those types of drunk where the ego is amplified while under the influence.

Sure you can. Depends on the type of stupidity one is talking about. It is entirely possible to be knowledgeable (i.e, smart) in a given topic while being dumb as dirt in others. So you might infer that Bannon is financially smart due to his work at GS, but he is extremely dumb to betray the President of the United States the way he has done.

There once was a guy named Bannon,
Whose mouth spewed trash with abandon ...
Put a knife in “the Don’s’s” back,
Like an MSM hack
Now he’s feeling the wrath of Trump’s cannon!

A smart person can make a bad decision in their life. Or two, or three. All the GS people in Trumps admin seem very smart but no self awareness of how they come across.

Yeah, I believe he was the leaker. But, why? What was Bannon’s end game? Anyway, he’s dead to me.
