Wow, stabbed by a Chinchilla. A tale to tell your grandchildren. The Chinchilla is lucky he wasn’t justifiably shot to death.

Officer wasn’t in uniform, just wearing a badge - a chinchilla stabbed him. Looking for a pic now..

Hopefully there weren't any commands.

Look at that cute face. Who could have the heart to unleash a K9 dog on him?

Reading my mind. I was thinking the deputy might have been or was driving an unmarked car or off duty when the suspect approached. Otherwise why would the suspect ask a uniformed deputy with a patrol car if he's a deputy? Deputy is lucky he's not dead considering a large kitchen knife was used. Based on the report the deputy is in good condition. My question would be why wasn't the suspect found full of holes? Maybe the badge was all he had at the time? I dunno.

Glad they captured this raving screw worm!

WOW! I remember when raising Chinchillas was a basement project back in the 1950s and 60s! Didn’t realize they were so deady!

Tried growing chinchillas.

No matter how I planted them, fertilized them, watered them...they all died.

Contacted the county farm agent. Told him about my chinchillas.

Asked me to send him a soil sample.
