Better question...if Trump didn’t think he would win and didn’t want to win why would he use his own plane and travel to three and four campaign events on a daily basis at the end of the campaigns?

The rationale has to do with the quantum theory principle - that a particle can be in two places at the same time. Trump wanted to lose and he also wanted to win (which is why he colluded with the Russians). It’s all part of a very carefully worked-out plan.
