This was a brilliant move on his part on so many levels. The stock market virtually runs on the farm report. On what pork belly futures will be. On what the citrus crop report will be. On grain futures. A good outlook or bad and the market will go high , middle or crash, fortunes made or broken in a matter of minutes and the people who are the farmers and brokers know this. Four past presidents could have cared less what farmers did. Not this man. He knows, from the history he cited about how farmers made America, fought to create it, fed it's armies and are still doing it. He knows where the votes are and more over he just knows people, the common people. Man , I'll tell you, I'll be in a glow over this speech for days!
