In their effort to break the mold, the planners of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago are taking heat for some less-than-lofty features in the sprawling complex.
Namely, a “test kitchen.”
Reports first surfaced last fall that the monument to the first black president’s legacy was taking on an activity-center vibe. There would be a museum – but also a basketball court, possibly a room for yoga classes, and a test kitchen to teach visitors “about the full production cycle of nutritious food.”

OTOH... so what, there’s nothing wrong with trying to educate and empower folks to take responsibility for their own health and nutrition.

Still bilking the US tax payers . This complex looks more like a modernized prison facility for the swamp dwellers .
Put it in a pot friendly state and visitors can get all, “Wee Weed up.” (Yeah, I’ll never forget our prior president actually said “Wee Weed up” to the press/public)
Replace all of it with an outhouse and you’d have a “fitting edifice” for the half-breed’s “library.” We ought to just do away with “Presidential Libraries” anyway, because most of our presidents in modern times, with the exception of Ronald Reagan don’t have any “papers” worth more than being used as kinding.
Basketball court??? I’ve seen the dude shoot. It’s a waste of money.
Why not a golf course?
Seems like there were some documents that were unavailable for a FOIA request a few months ago because they were supposedly the property of the Obama presidential library. Does anyone remember the details? Of course, I could just be mis-remembering.
If he’s half-white, why is he black? Why isn’t he mixed?
How about a PhotoShop lab for forging documents?
