Keep in mind that Democrats, certainly under Clintoon, would give political appointees full DoD pensions after the first year of government work, sometimes fully vested on day 1. This happened no matter what branch of government they were joined to.

Does the DoD waste lots of money? Gobs of it. But the so called “authorized” spending for non-Defense items is enormous.

No different than LBJ putting the school lunch and other Section 8 programs under the Dept of Agriculture. Complete misdirection, mostly fraud.

It’s ‘discovered’ at the end of every fiscal year, and far predates Obama. This is just collecting in one place info that has long been known.

They’re called ‘unsupported adjustments’ and ‘unsupported journal vouchers’. That’s money that has been paid out without a clear explanation for what it paid for.

It does not appear to be adding to debt, as it is in the accounts every year.
