My beef is that the music in 80% of the ads is black gospel style or black cool jazz. Much as I love those styles, it gets tiresome.

I do too. What gets me is that no one in Hollywood can sense it, however. Sometimes, just from reading the description of a proposed film (a film that hasn’t even gone into full production yet), you think, “Oh, that’s going to bomb!” How do the Hollywood “moguls” not see it?
