I really don’t understand pervs. I understand that anyone can have desires that range from banal to unhealthy to horrifying but some people can’t seem to control them even when they have so much at stake (reputation, marriage, children, career, etc.).
I’m also wise enough to realize that the very impetus that drives these men to take incredible risks in their personal lives may also be what propels them to success in their public lives. I’m more circumspect. I’m not as much of a risk taker as they are. I’m also not as much of a success as they are. I can live with that too.
Vlad, there are plenty of powerful, daring men who aren’t sexually criminal. They don’t go hand in hand. I’m sure everyone has weird fantasies but to actually hurt and violate other people for your jollies isn’t part of bold, brave masculinity at all.
