President Trump will be joining us at our annual convention in Nashville and speaking to the thousands of farmers and ranchers gathered there. The President’s attendance, the 'first for a U.S. president in more than 20 years,' is recognition that Farm Bureau members play a vital role: providing food, fiber and energy crops—and the additional jobs they support—for our country.

We look forward to hearing the President’s remarks about issues that are important to farmers’ and ranchers’ bottom lines...

The AFBF invites the White House to its gathering every year, but it's been a quarter century since a president has accepted.

"We had a very pleasant surprise when the White House folks called and said the president has considered the invitation and looks forward to visiting with the Farm Bureau members."

Farm Bureau has an alternative group health insurance that s not ACA compliant and is Very popular in Tennessee, until 2018, one had to pay the “Tax” penalty and it was still worth it.

What’s wrong with help? And I’m not talking marijuana. Hemp is different. And was suppressed by the energy companies to boost plastics.

Really. A quarter Century. That would put the last visiting president as Bush Senior. Not very surprised that Clinton and Obama did not, but Bush II either?

Sigh. I don’t know why, but this makes me rather cross.

Not a bad idea but more importantly, Trump needs to
let farmers know he is ready to listen in contrast
to the ignorant jerkoff who preceded him.

He’s already got a team together that’s addressing all the concerns spoken of when he met them in Washington. He got it together soon after that meeting.

If you recall Pres. Trumps inauguration speech he was very clear the “forgotten man” stops today. He met with the Farming community during his run to hear their concerns. He’s already got a team together and I tend to think he may speak with them at this meeting on what the status is and to expect...after his speech.

I listened to a lot of Trumps interviews ‘through the years’ last night. He ‘really’ is doing exactly as he said he would...and will jump and fight the barriers that stop him.

Way to go, President Trump.

We need food crops not energy crops.
