LONDON (Reuters) - The author of a book that is highly critical of Donald Trumps first year as U.S. president said his revelations were likely to bring an end to Trumps time in the White House.
Michael Wolff told BBC radio that his conclusion in Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House-- that Trump is not fit to do the job -- was becoming a widespread view.
I think one of the interesting effects of the book so far is a very clear emperor-has-no-clothes effect, Wolff said in an interview broadcast on Saturday.
The story that I have told seems to present this presidency in such a way that it says he cant do his job, Wolff said.
Suddenly everywhere people are going oh my God, its true, he has no clothes. Thats the background to the perception and the understanding that will finally end ... this presidency.
Trump has dismissed the book as full of lies. It depicts a chaotic White House, a president who was ill-prepared to win the office in 2016, and Trump aides who scorned his abilities.

All of these feeble attempts — this being only the most recent soon-to-be-failed try — to bring down our President suggests to me the Democrats/Left know there will soon be a vacancy or two on the USSC, and woe be unto them when President Trump’s nominees become justices.
Watch the shiny things people
Meanwhile Trump is getting stuff done.
Now we know where many of the leaks came from.
This guy is a hard core lefty who will soon get an education on Slander law.
“I cant wait until the liberals start berating the average working class Americans for their greed at accepting larger paychecks, when the welfare class isnt getting their fair share.
Truth is always stranger than fiction, FRiend! Liberals are already berating working Americans for accepting bonuses that companies are offering (anticipating growth & profits) as a form of “bribery”.
Liberals also insist that the welfare class you mentioned should not have to submit to drug testing to receive their bennies, but employed Americans should be tested.
Class warfare never stops.
let me ask you, with all sincerity, as I haven’t paid attn to every detail of this; how do we know Bannon really said what this lying author said he said? Bannon seems to have been solidly on our side so why all of a sudden would he turn like that? He very well may have but we’re taking the word of a liar about Bannon?
I am seriously confused about this...
Doesnt make sense to me that Bannon haters are Wolff believers.
I think that if you love Bannon you would also love this Wolff guy.
I used to respect Bannon until Wolff came along and exposed him as a person who loves gossip and is so disloyal both to his President he was paid to serve and to his country. Bannon has shown himself as unpatriotic, self serving and maybe even whack.
What could possess a person who is a former Navy officer to betray every oath hes ever taken? Is Bannon himself a double agent or what?
No excuses.
I dont love either Wolff OR Bannon and cant fathom your thinking. Both are traitors in my view, and what could there be to love in either?
Meanwhile Trump is being branded nonstop as mentally unstable. There is no upside to that kind of unrelenting, unified effort.
Buy. More. Nail-studded. Baseball. Bats.
Despite the author footnoting that most everything he has claimed is not necessarily true.......
Haters will continue to be haters, bet.
State X secedes and they fight amongst themselves for power. For example, if California seceded, there would in all likelihood be a civil war within California; first the lefties would attack those conservatives who did not submit or did not leave the state; then the purges where lefty factions would fight each other over ideological purity and ultimate control. I was born and raised in California, and it used to be paradise. I left back in 1979. However, I still know people in California who would “not go gently in to that good night” in the event the left turned on them.
Except wolff already admitted the book is fiction.
Indeed he’s been sued many times for printing lies in his books but the low informed take the bait every time.
I think Trump is trolling the media. Slate has an interesting article on Wolf and it isnt very flattering, The Slate article is a warning against realizing to much into the book.
If there was a referendum and everyone voted then why would there be a war?
Ain't that great?
It s indeed.
The stock market is soaring, the unemployment rate is falling, the economy s growing, we got a tax cut. This guy is really fired incompetent. :-)
Methinks Michael Wolff thinks too much of himself.

He's not only a notorious fabricator - who even admits it himself - but if he, as he seems to be admitting, wrote this book with an aim to unseat a sitting president - that used o be called Treason...
and read this self-admission of lying by Wolff himself - read all the way thru'
