You do understand that’s exactly where we are here... that attitude and opinion. That cops should kill people based on feelings and not actual threats.
I worked with the military. There are good people there, but also a lot of flakes. And, frankly, a lot of people that are not too bright. It was the only job they could get.
So, having a military background doesn’t make one better or worse. It just makes a person someone with a military background.

Cops aren't warriors, nor should they be. In fact, most of the police murders are committed by cops without military backgrounds. The ones who have spent time in the military are the ones exercising restraint. Soldiers would be in Leavenworth for some of the "good shots" that police get away with.

I suspect that if someone were to jump the curb and flatten this guy there were be no problems having it declared an accident and being exonerated.

Actually cops should be warriors. They fight crime and many criminals have guns. What police murders—how many were there in 2017? Do you have a figure? Do you have any evidence, statistics of some sort, to support your claims?
