I can think of no other reason why we allow continuation of Turkey in NATO.
It's time to relocate both our troops, and nuclear arms out of that country.

Do we see eye to eye? No. Do we want them to join the Russian camp? No. The working relationship isn’t good right now, but we can hope for better times and hang in there.
That seems prudent to me. Others won’t agree and you may be one of them.
