Hours before NFL players across the league took a knee during the national anthem in defiance of President Trump on Sunday, one World War II veteran hosted a protest of his own — in his backyard.
"These people have every right to protest," John Middlemas, a 97-year-old farmer from Springfield, Missouri, told his grandson, Brennan Gilmore, before kneeling.

They have the right to insult and inflame their audience all day long. Their audience has the right to tell them to get the f out of the country all day long as well.

Just as a local reporter did to find the one pizza place in IN that said they probably wouldn’t cater a gay wedding. (without noting that they had never been asked to cater any other kind of wedding)
Just because the guy served in WWII does not give him any more credence or standing than anyone else. It was a world war and most were drafted. He could be just another leftist liberal who served and is 97 years old.
You can support a person’s right without stooping to their level. This veteran acted in a shameful manner.
