“Why do you advocate POT use?”

Fallacy-land again.

I have NEVER advocated the use of cannabis or any substance. I have always stated people should be able to have, grow & use cannabis in the privacy of their home if they so chose.

I also support regulated medical marijuana programs. I know from personal experience that it’s medicinal for some people. I discovered in 2015 I was one of those people. I’m a thankful medical marijuana patient & I happily voted for it in 2016 here in the state of Florida.

Since you won’t answer my question I’m not going to bother answering anymore of yours, Prohibitionist.

Now be a good lad, pat yourself on the back with great affection & run along so the adults can talk, k? :)

medical marijuana is an oxymoron. What a joke. Anyway it violates federal law which will now be enforced by adults. Real adults.

Please, by all means, explain to me exactly HOW my growing a PLANT in my backyard, or smoking it my living room, has ANY impact on your safety and well being?

When you toke, can you tell us at what point you of sound mind and are not under the influence of this mind altering drug?

Clinically, speaking, what is your washout time? What dose does you no harm? What dose does you harm? What dose causes you to lose control of yourself?

When you buy sh!t from your dealer or boutique, or grow sh!t in your own backyard how safe is what you have bought or what you have grown? Is it altered in any way? Did your Pot monkey spike it with something? Is the potency and effect the same from plant to plant or crop to crop? I'll wager you don't know sh!t about any of this.

If you don't know the dose that does you harm and causes you to lose control of yourself, that is the point where you can become a real threat to others -- first by the careless example you set for others - kids in particular -- and secondly by your selfish inattention to others and their safety that your drug addled state presents as they may be forced by consequence to have to interact with you.

Closer to home, since you last toked (assuming you're not writing in a cloud of pot smoke now), how does anyone know that you're not writing in a drug addled state of mind right now? And if you are in any way in a mind altered drug addled state of mind why should anyone who is not so foolishly compromised care what you have to say about anything?

In the end the damage is to your health, possibly the health of others, and ultimately to your credibility. Your reputation is as charred as the sh!t you are smoking.

So, you want to make sure Pharma gets their cut. Got it.

You can entrust your health to the pot head down the street, to your completely un-studied self, or you can trust your health to the best science. Which one you trust says a lot about you, and whether you have any credibility to speak on the subject at all.

FReegards!

“medical marijuana is an oxymoron. “

Only to the truly ignorant & the willfully uninformed.

I suffered from severe depression & anxiety for 20+ years. Cannabis treats both ailments successfully. Nothing you will ever say in your life will change that fact.

Not your law degree.
Not your anger.
Not your desire to force people to behave as you wish.
Nothing.

Now run along, angry child. The streetlights are on & I hear someone crying your name.

Congress needs to change the law. Make it uniform or codify that it’s up to each state to determine the legality of pot.

It’s bad policy to expect or allow AGs to simply disregard laws, which is what has been going on.

It’s the choice between a nation of laws, or one where law is optional depending upon who is running the show.

Enforcing the law will turn up the heat on Congress and get them to act.

That’s part of what is driving this.

Me: Which section of the Constitution gives Congress the power to regulate intrastate pot?

You: The law the Congress passed that lets them regulate drugs. Don’t play stupid here, it doesn’t work.

____________________________________________________________

IOW, you cannot name the part of the Constitution which delegates that power to Congress, so you run from the question.

Sad.

“He will do what he is by God told.”

I’m not sure what God told him, but Jeff Sessions didn’t tell him to do anything. From the article =>

“Today the Attorney General rescinded the Cole Memo on marijuana prosecutions, and directed that federal marijuana prosecution decisions be governed by the same principles that have long governed all of our prosecution decisions,”

They need to allow medical marijuana. I know people who were helped, including my sister and her chemotherapy for cancer

You could easily be right. I’d like to see this solved, but I’m okay with next term instead of this term if the solution is legalizing marijuana.

“Conservatively: Having laws you don’t intend to enforce is deleterious to law abiding. So, either enforce or repeal.”

There are a gazillion federal laws on the books and many, if not most, are selectively enforced or not enforced at all. Why single out intrastate mj for special treatment, especially since it tramples on the rightful Tenth Amendment powers of the states?

Why not go after seniors who buy cheaper prescription drugs from Canada in violation of the Law of the Land? At least that law is constitutional, since it’s based on the power to reguate foreign commerce.

C’mon, are we a Nation of Laws or not?

The make tablets called Marinol for that purpose it doesn't however offer the high that the weed does. Name a benefit it has for your child setting in math class.

England kept China in a drug induced stupor for years and they didn't come out of that stupor until Mao gave them a choice, drug free life or death.

I named it you just don't like it. Regulations and Laws passed by congress and signed by the President are law unless the Supreme Court says they aren't. A lot of things have been brought into law by the Supreme Court and I don't like those either but they are the law still.

Why don't you put as much effort into undoing Abortion on demand as you do worrying about your ability to legally use a stupefying drug.

“I do not go along with that medical nonsense”

I don’t give a rats damn what you go along with. You’d have people like me imprisoned purely for using medicine that treats my illnesses. You’d imprison people who’s crime is to grow a plant for their own personal use.

In my opinion:
You are anti-liberty.
You are anti-freedom.
You are not conservative.

“but I knew you smoked weed.”

This is why force-freaks like you have no real credibility. Like most prohibitionists you deal in fallacy. I have stated numerous time on FR that I use edibles & vaporizers in accordance with Florida law. I have never said I currently or recently smoked marijuana. Prior to our lawful medical marijuana program I used homemade edibles. See if you actually “knew” anything about me you’d know I’d don’t care for smoking cannabis. I don’t like the taste or the harshness on my throat.

“Sorry about your depression.”

Based on your previous BS I rather doubt that.

“I named it you just don’t like it.”

No you didn’t. The section you won’t name is the Commerce Clause, which has been expanded way beyond its original meaning since Wickard. To endorse Wickard is to endorse a living, breathing Constitution. Sad.

As for abortion, everyone here knows that Roe v Wade is a fraud. No anti-constitutional jerks are on threads defending it.
