They were able to quit taking the Metformin and other medication.

Tjat statement is why I think big pharma is against medical marijuana.

And...
“Another Vietnam vet says it help tremendously with their PTSD where the “zombie” pills that the VA gave him only made him a ... well a zombie.”

...is what makes the denial of MM to the population criminal.

It wouldn’t bother me any, as long as the law was ratified through proper channels and procedure by duly elected officials.

I think the anti MJ people are not exposed to people ( successful in my experience) who use it with no problems.
They have also not been exposed to kids experimenting with MJ, and would have outgrown it but got caught by the police with a possession charge and now have a record for the rest of their lives limiting their career prospects.

I started using cannabis in 2015 to treat severe depression & anxiety. For 20+ years prior to this I took prescribed Pharma medicines that never really worked.

For me, cannabis works wonderfully. I too use it before bedtime & I sleep like a baby. I’ve lost 80lbs since I started using cannabis. Weather permitting I walk 2 miles every day & a very happy man after many decades of being miserable.

It works for me & I thank my Heavenly Father for it daily!

Actually, Gary Johnson said: (Toke) Trump’s reversal (toke) on marijuana (toke) could (toke) doom (toke) his re-election (toke, toke, toke).

Last I checked MJ wasn't listed as one of the personal freedoms in the bill of rights.

You have a very, very, frail grasp on the Constitution. In case you want to educate yourself, the Constitution does NOT grant us ANY rights. The Constitution limits what the government can do, and you might notice that abolishing pot isn't mentioned.

Why is it that so many people have such difficulty grasping this concept? Robroys woman is spot on. individual freedom and personal responsibility should be what we are ALL fighting for.

They are, they just don’t know it.

That is true. They have no idea how many of their friends and associates use it, but keep it quiet. That is why over 60% of the population supports it, and you cannot call over half the US population stoners. This is a huge mistake by Sessions, he needs to go.
I had a wonderful dog who had musculoskeletal problems in her old age. I did not even think about trying MJ on her. The pills the vet prescribed caused liver problems. She died.
I now have a new dog. I spoke to my vet because I had read stories of people using MJ for their dogs with the same health issues as mine. My vet told me she could not officially recommend it because the Vet association had not made recommendations regarding usage of MJ in dogs. However, anecdotally, her clients have used it for their dogs with great success.

I had another person I know who started using CBD and edibles for their prostate cancer. The urologist wanted to completely remove their prostate. In one years time after using the MM their biopsy came back cancer free. Though it is empirical evidence ... it does make one wonder why big pharm and the medical industry in general is so eager to ban the substance. It also makes one wonder about the motives of some of the War on Drug warriors out here.

Thanks for sharing this. I’m thankful for such a wonderful outcome!

People with severe seizures, Parkinson’s, MS, chronic pain & many other ailments do find relief when using cannabis.

It’s my belief many prohibitionists resent the fact that people who use cannabis generally feel better than they do based on how they conduct themselves when discussing the issue. :)

What, you don't think the proper role of government is to make us moral or kill us trying?

If congress wants to act to decriminalize marijuana legally, unlike Obola’s under-the-table look-the-other-way method, they have that right. Just reestablishing the rule of law. Let’s see if congress has the guts to do something.

You have a frail grasp on reading comprehension. The bill of rights lists personal freedoms to safeguard them from government. Have you read it? That is all I said. Though if you want to discourse on natural rights theory we can go there once you have read your Strauss.

There is no freedom to dope up. Nada. Zilch. That is licentiousness and would be abhorred by the men of the revolution.

The erroneous equation of unlawful libertine behavior with the political freedom the Constitution provides was and continues to be a key project of the left to destroy the enduring meaning of the Constitution.

You must be so proud to be part of that endeavor!

I have found that dopers and addicts and their enablers will say and do anything, however erroneous, to protect their high.

Now you can tell me high George Washington was a man without any self control whatever and grew MJ on his farm to give to his patriot soldiers. Or he would have if he could.

Have fun living in fable land.

I'll stand by my interpretation of the Constitution vs. your flawed view.

The Constitution in no way grants us our rights. They are inalienable. It limits government, and only allows the federal government to do certain enumerated things, leaving everything else to the people and the states. We have tons of rights that the Constitutions ignores completely (in that they are not mentioned specifically), but acknowledges them in it's quest to provide the necessary shackles on the federal government. It's right there in the 10th Amendment.

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Where is the government given the right to determine what anyone can drink, eat and smoke?
