Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh said Thursday that he believes Stephen Bannon was responsible for the majority of the first-year leaks coming out of the Trump administration.
“The thing that I think everybody believes and that everybody knows is that most of the leaking that was coming out of the Trump White House was Steve Bannon,” Limbaugh said.
His comments come amid an intensifying feud between Trump and Bannon, his former chief strategist, after excerpts were published from a new book about the early days of the Trump White House that quoted Bannon harshly criticizing the president and his family.
The Trump administration has struggled with leaks since he took office and has previously accused Bannon of being responsible.
Limbaugh said on his first broadcast of the new year that he had “never heard” of Bannon before the Breitbart News chief joined the Trump campaign, and described him as “all over the place” with conflicting comments on the Trump administration.
“Bannon is all over the place,” Limbaugh said. “You go back to his '60 Minutes' interview where he was praising Trump to the hilt and he was saying that the Russian investigation was bogus and there was nothing to it. And now in this book he’s quoted as saying that Trump and [Donald] Trump Jr. were committing treason by dealing with the Russians. I never understood half of the president’s staffing. I never understood how he knew these people and ended up choosing them.”

Just stop. Bannon IS all over the place and when he was first dismissed remember the stories of him making it his goal to take down POTUS?
Well we all dismissed it, but clearly he was leaking and that is why he was fired. He had this “writer” up to his office at the WH a couple of times.
I 'was' a daily listener until Rush dissed Newt in favor of Myth Romney, back in 2012. I made it clear in my post, that I no long pay attention to his so called 'conservative' spew. I do recall back when Rush pontificated over 'real' conservatives followed the 'original intent' of our Constitution... There is no doubt that Rush threw that claim, in his dust bin of history, when he favored two ineligible candidates in 2016.
Some people just need to repeat, what they hear, to sound like they know, what, in reality they are just too ignorant to realize they are just echos.
Comey leaked about the Trump Russian collusion stuff. Bannon leaked about inside the WH stuff and did a lot of smearing of Kushner and Ivanka.
No that’s not the message ... there are powerful forces that want the economic Nationalism and Populism exorcised from the national dialogue and it looks like that’s about to happen ...Trump will be the only one left, let’s hope he holds the line on it ... keep your eyes on the snakes that did everything they could to stop Trump and MAGA , that now all of a sudden support him and leading the charge against Nationalism ... Levin and Shapiro come to mind , but there are many others

It is unreal. The only other thing I can think of is they are coordinating this togrther to play the media? It is just so hard to fathom.

I never fell under Glen Beck's influence.. his tear filled rants turned me off way back. And Beck's attempts to crown Ted Cruz king of White House became SNL material.. IF Bannon believes he was the ‘key’ to getting Trump elected he is delusional.
I’ve listened to many political talking heads over my 70 plus years and Steve Cortez is one of the best and nicest on our side. I’d definitely fine a roll inside the Trump Administration. He’s always on point and comes off as a genuine nice guy to boot.
If you quit listening to Rush in 2012, how do you KNOW that he supported Cruz and Rubio in the primaries? He did NOT.

Perhaps you are unaware of the written word? There is a 'rush' thread right here on FR that is available to anyone. Sometimes even a transcript of 'rush' speak is posted...
I stopped devoting three hours a day to Rush talk after his stunt against Newt back in 2012... but I can read.
Rush doesn't support any candidate in the primaries. If you think you heard him support a candidate, that's your problem.
