Justice Department reopens Hillary Clinton email investigation
The Washington Examiner ^ | Jan 4 2017 | Kelly Cohen

The Department of Justice has caved to pressure from the White House and is reportedly reopening the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.

According to the Daily Beast, there is a new effort in the department to get new details on how Clinton and her aides — including former top aide Huma Abedin — handled classified material. The effort will look at how much classified information was on her private email server, and how that information got there.

President Trump has continually questioned if and when the Justice Department would reopen its investigation into Clinton. He tweeted on Dec. 2: “Many people in our Country are asking what the ‘Justice’ Department is going to do about the fact that totally Crooked Hillary, AFTER receiving a subpoena from the United States Congress, deleted and ‘acid washed’ 33,000 Emails? No justice!”

Last week, conservative group Judicial Watch won a lawsuit against the State Department and released emails showing that classified information was on the computer of Abedin’s then-husband Anthony Weiner.

The FBI previously investigated and declined to criminally prosecute Clinton for her use of the email server. But Trump and his supporters used the email debacle as a rallying cry throughout the campaign.

I worked on a classified project in a million square foot facility. Walking down a remote hallway in the uncleared area I saw the chief engineer on the project coming toward me carrying a vinyl notebook under his arm. On the underside I could see a red and white candy-striped folder on which I could read the classified project code name. Apparently, he had just picked it up with the notebook. Even the name of our project was Top Secret, so this was a security breach squared.

I stopped him and asked if he was heading for the classified lab downstairs. He said yes. I said, “Are you aware you are transporting a classified document in an unapproved manner?” He looked puzzled for a second then turned the notebook over and saw the candy-striped folder.

He sucked in his breath in a terrified whimper, clutched the thing to his chest and literally danced around like his feet wanted to run but his head hadn’t told them which way to go. This huge man, in his late fifties, who probably hadn’t run in twenty years sprinted back to the door. He couldn’t operate the lock with the folder clutched to his chest. Even though there was nobody in this long hallway, he was trying to cover the folder with both arms and work the lock by bending over it.

By this time I was at the door. I motioned him aside and he leaned on the door with his back facing the direction people might come from. I have never seen such panic. He had tears in his eyes. I felt so badly because I wanted to laugh.

He immediately reported the incident. I assured the security officer I had seen him come out of the classified door and nobody was in the hallway. There was no loss of information. But the seriousness of this minor breach and how seriously it was treated can’t be over emphasized. The FBI was notified. An agent came and spoke to all of us about the need for following the rules.

When I learned of the “extremely careless” way that one of the eleven people in the nation who hold the top level of clearance had treated the nation’s secrets, I thought about that incident. I was appalled. If I or anyone I had worked with had so much as removed one document, let alone dozens, we would have been in prison. That navy sailor who took a selfie in a submarine spent a year in prison and his life is ruined. But Hillary Clinton is still walking around talking about how sexist Trump is.

I am in the “Lock her up” crowd. Incidentally, if I could, I’d offer that sailor a job. There is no fairness in the United States and no justice until Hillary Clinton is put in prison.

Kabuki, Sessions is a RINOcrap and needs to be fired. Remember he said the evidence wasn’t there to reopen? 110 classified emails diverted, clear cut evidence of that and all that is needed for a conviction is gross negligence. He just does not want the matriarch of the Clinton crime family Hillary F. Clinton to go to jail.

It is called the Art of Deception. Never let the enemy know what you are going to do before you declare War.

This will help him clean out more of the dirt. Give them enough rope, they’ll hang themselves. And hopefully, Hillary and Obama with them.

Will this be a real investigation, or more Kabuki theater?

I fear Kabuki.

Make a lot of noise and then conclude nothing there...to staunch any REAL investigation.

Sessions heart is definitely not with going after them all...

Yep.... the crimes are already known and documented. They should be charged right now and they can continue to investigate to strengthen the case.

“...Trump originally didn’t want to pursue this course of action...what changed?...”

I would guess a couple of things.
1. Her and odongo running their mouths off all over the world about hm and his administration.
2. This fake Russian dossier being used for the FISA spying on him.
Either one, or both, of those would be enough for me to see both of em dangling from the end of a rope.

The FBI subpoenas you for information. You lie about it at first, then you say that you will scour your computer for relevant files yourself, and turn over what they want. After you do that, you contract with someone to erase your hard drive, AND you physically destroy your computer. Afterwards, it turns out that you DID NOT turn over all of the requested information that you had.

What do you think would happen to YOU??

YEP the most heinous crime is not that Emails were scrubbed and a private server was used,..It was WHAT AS ON THE EMAILS, but they’ve had years to bleachbit it all, ,
It would be like re-opening an investigation into Hillary cleaning up blood , but no mention whatsoever of the murder

Methinks the NSA has EVERYTHING that ever touched a computer network.

BUT, they will suppress eveidence "in the national security interest", which could mean anything from the existence of UFO's to Obama's legacy

for example, if Hillary's emails contained evidence that she and Obama hired mercenaries to kill Ambassador Stevens in Benghazi, because he was about to spill the beans before the election, they would never let that info out.
