Justice Department reopens Hillary Clinton email investigation
Washington Examiner ^ | 01/014/18 | Kelly Cohen

Posted on 01/04/2018 9:06:02 AM PST by Bodleian_Girl

The Department of Justice has caved to pressure from the White House and is reportedly reopening the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.

According to the Daily Beast, there is a new effort in the department to get new details on how Clinton and her aides — including former top aide Huma Abedin — handled classified material. The effort will look at how much classified information was on her private email server, and how that information got there.

President Trump has continually questioned if and when the Justice Department would reopen its investigation into Clinton. He tweeted on Dec. 2: “Many people in our Country are asking what the ‘Justice’ Department is going to do about the fact that totally Crooked Hillary, AFTER receiving a subpoena from the United States Congress, deleted and ‘acid washed’ 33,000 Emails? No justice!”

Last week, conservative group Judicial Watch won a lawsuit against the State Department and released emails showing that classified information was on the computer of Abedin’s then-husband Anthony Weiner.

The FBI previously investigated and declined to criminally prosecute Clinton for her use of the email server. But Trump and his supporters used the email debacle as a rallying cry throughout the campaign.

The findings from a separate Justice Department’s inspector general probe into how the FBI handled the email use is expected to be released sometime this spring.

One has to believe that ANY agreement with Illary, Mills and Abeden included the recovery of ALL classified documents and devices containing or used in the transmission of them.

I agree. Any evasion of that responsibility should bring charges.

“Sessions makes me physically sick with his betrayal.”

Well whether he’s really on the Trump Train or not, he certainly fails the “patriot test!” I can’t figure out whether he’s working to bring down the Trump Administration, or his get up and go has done gone and went?

I bet the fire just happened to burn up all the evidence

According to CNN, Fire on Clinton property was in Secret Service facility.

I would love to see her in total lock up. Only being allowed out of her cell for one hour a day. Stinking the place up to high hell. The prison staff will have to wear gas masks. What kind of music does she NOT like? Play that 24-7. No more magic circle lesbians or eating dead babies.

She should be in a position to beg for hell.

He lied after he had his Immunity. Just because Comney Let him slide doesn’t give him a pass if after a second look they decide to prosecute.

His deal is null and void as far as the Law goes. He violated the terms.

I’d haul his ass in with the indictment in my hands, lay it down in front of him and his attorney along with his reddit posts and say here’s the deal... You sign this agreement today admitting guilt and you get Probation. Then you give us ALL of your involvement in any and all communications, actions with any of Hillary Clinton’s emails, staff, lawyers, electronic equipment, storage facilities and devices along with any destruction of any of the above. We also expect to hear WHO gave you the orders to destroy the evidence and when. If you fail to do so there is no deal.

If we find ANY part of your story doesn’t align with ALL the facts in this case you most likely are going to prison...we will recommend 10 years minimum.

Then walk out telling his attorney he has 10 minutes and the deal is off the table and he is under arrest for Numerous Felonies.

According to Newt Gingrich, Sessions had a requirement to recuse himself from the Russia investigation.

Do you know this to be false?

I don't believe that to be false, but why did Sessions accept Trump's offer to be his AG, KNOWING that he would not be able to go after the Clintons, if confirmed?

Perhaps he was incapable of seeing two chess moves ahead, and only belatedly realized his strategic error. Well, okay. Once he realized that he would be rendered inert and inoperative in the area of one of the worst incidents of political malfeasance in U.S. history, why didn't he do the honorable thing and resign?

Why does he continue to remain in office, frozen in place, and unable to do the real work of the people and his president? There is no logical excuse for his staying put while his hands are tied. Just resign already, and let someone else do the job that needs doing!

Huma and Hillary, need jail time.

Otherwise, DC clearly decended to a third world government.

Yes, there may be reasons to have a trial for such corrupt politicians, even if jury conviction would be improbable. One is that it would create a public record of facts run through the rules of evidence - even if a jury voted to acquit, the stain of guilt would always remain. (While a different type of case brought about for other reasons, an example is OJ Simpson - the jurors and most of his defenders know he did the crime despite the acquittal.)

I appreciate your desire for justice and it is well placed.

I on the other hand just want to be rid of her and her flying monkeys once and for all. Her death, (preferably by some unspeakable and painful disease) will be a moment of joy for many of us.

I have a 40-year-old bottle of single malt Scotch Whisky that I have been saving for the day she dies. I look forward to opening it soon and having a toast to her death and breathing a sigh of relief.

Whatever happens I think major suffering should be in order.

The first of which was the night she lost the election.

And then losing it two more times.

Now she is waiting for the noose.

I had the same reaction, that’s why I stole it. Coughed a piece of venison jerky right up into my nose.

Upon further reflection...some time in the gray bar hotel may hasten her demise, but I doubt that will happen.

The first order of business with regards to the Clintons is to seize their assets, all of them, including their house and the monies in their foundation(s). Her worst nightmare is poverty

Withdraw Secret Service protection for them and let them face the wrath of those they have cheated.

Chelsea Clinton also needs to be imprisoned, as does her criminal husband.

for hildabeest, major suffering would be being forced to watch the 2016 election night news on a continuous loop with her eyelids held open. hour after hour. day after day. year upon year.

so much better than the noose for her, imho.

My guess is that they’ll go through all the motions of an “investigation” only to peter out at the end.
