Lawyers on behalf of President Donald Trump sent a letter Wednesday night to former White House Chief Strategist Stephen Bannon demanding he refrain from making disparaging comments against the president and his family. The letter comes after excerpts from a forthcoming book by journalist Michael Wolff were made public Wednesday, causing a stir.

Trump attorney Charles J. Harder of the firm Harder Mirell & Abrams LLP, said in a statement, "This law firm represents President Donald J. Trump and Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. On behalf of our clients, legal notice was issued today to Stephen K. Bannon, that his actions of communicating with author Michael Wolff regarding an upcoming book give rise to numerous legal claims including defamation by libel and slander, and breach of his written confidentiality and non-disparagement agreement with our clients. Legal action is imminent."

Do you believe there is any possibility Trump has any undesirable qualities?

Compared to who? Jeb Bush? Marco Rubio? Mitt Romney? Barack Obama? Elizabeth Warren? Hillary Clinton? Shove off, Bush-boi. You have exposed yourself for what you are - a GOPe HACK.

“However, Trump, in the past as a self-declared democrat,”

You might have had some points until you stated that.

Now, lemme clue you in on something. Ronald Reagan was what before he became a politician? He was a FDR DEMOCRAT you snarky little SOB!

I was wondering if both Wolff (what an appropriate name) and Holt (publisher) would receive letters.

I just never believe in blindly following a man. I reserve that trust for my Lord.

But you'll blindly believe what Bannon, Wolff, and the MSM spew about Trump's character and work ethic?

Here comes the holier-than-thou "God Card" No sale. Buzz off, Bush-boi.

That must be one of those trolls from the GOP Briefing room Forum.

That’s where the Bush Bots fled in 2016.

Bannon’s security clearance a challenge outside the White House

Not surprising but I would assume that violations of the security clearance would be a criminal matter for the government, and not a civil matter for the President.

but he’s not a man of character

So how is it that this man with no character has raised what appear to be successful and ethical children?

Absolutely not. I don't believe them at all. I make my judgement based on long time experience watching the man.

In the introduction of the book, the author writes: “Many of the accounts of what has happened in the Trump White House are in conflict with one another, many, in Trump fashion, are badly untrue. I have settled on a version of events I believe to be true.” File it in the fiction aisle.

Bannon is the loser in this game. He had the defeat from the (stolen) Alabama election. Now this.

I can sympathize with some of Bannon's bitterness towards President Trump. It's more or less an open secret that the New York liberal and feminist airhead duo Javanka told daddy to get rid of Bannon, even though it was Bannon's worldview and not Javanka's that won Trump the Presidency.

However, Bannon is going about this in a completely spiteful and counterproductive way by siding with the Democrats on the phony "Russian election conspiracy issue." What Bannon should be doing instead is holding the White House's feet to the fire on backing anti-establishment Republican candidates and refusing to compromise on immigration (including DACA).

Spot on.

And, there you’ll find the likes of many NeverTrumper’s and TDS sufferers, sitting Indian-style or crouched in corners, salivating over each and every FICTIONAL word. ;-)

TGL has a history of being a NeverTrumper.

Just take a look at his antiTrump/antiPalin posts, from a year ago.

The parts about Jared and Ivanka's role are by all accounts mostly true. They're liberal, politically ambitious, and a poisonous influence in the White House.

I don't defend Bannon taking the side of the media on the made-up "Russian collusion", but I fully appreciate and sympathize with his resentment at getting pushed out of the WH as a senior advisor on account of nepotism.

I personally know the man in my tagline [George W. Bush] and know he's a man of character. I don't agree with his stance on some policies, but also know the type of man he is.

If by "character" you mean running as a conservative in the 2000 general election and then governing more or less like a liberal Rockefeller Republican, I'd agree. Otherwise, as far as I'm concerned he's just an entitled non-entity who got where he was by being born into the right, well-connected family.
