Anyhow I’m even semi sympathetic to modern “liberals” here.

One might try to defy drought by drinking mud, if there is no pure water to be had in the vicinity. Is it the best thing? No. But it beats drying up.

I’ve been surprised how hard it is to find a good enunciation of gospel. It’s as politically incorrect as heck, plus it cuts against people’s pride. But without it, the siren song of government “gospel” will easily dominate.
