Donald Trump Jr. Tweet about Steve Bannon
Twitter ^ | 1/3/2018 | Donald Trump Jr.

Steve had the honor of working in the White House & serving the country. Unfortunately, he squandered that privilege & turned that opportunity into a nightmare of backstabbing, harassing, leaking, lying & undermining the President. Steve is not a strategist, he is an opportunist 2:14 PM - 3 Jan 2018

If that were true, Bannon would have said something. So far....crickets.

Best way to get it over with quickly as well as compounding the damage to Wolff in a court case. We will see.

Take the Latest Explosive Trump/Bannon Stories in the Context of Their Source...

I saw that load of total fantasy. . . It's bovine crap. Insanity on parade. Michael Wolff will sell a pile of his fiction books to wishful thinking Liberal idiots.

Claiming that Trump would not put any of his own money into his own campaign? Ridiculous! Wolff is implying that the entire campaign was a scam to gain worldwide notoriety for his kids. Total absurdity.

The best way to get it over with would be to ignore it. Bannon is fanning the flames with unnecessary publicity. He likes the quotes or he wouldn’t use Breitbart to give them greater exposure.

Nothing like publicity, good and bad, to sell a book.

That interview he gave basically making himself out to be the smartest man in the world and the administration wouldn’t able to make it without him that printed a couple of weeks or so before President Trump fired him really told it all - Bannon was purely self serving and self absorbed. And not long before that I had posted an article of Scaramucci critical of his language and remarks. Other than the over the top language, Scaramucci had it right about Bannon and it is pretty clear Bannon was fired for cause and not part of some grand strategy.

It’s a Trump-bashing book. The WH called it, “trashy tabloid fiction.”

No need for Bannon to promote it, other than to harm Trump.

Bannon’s taking one for the team. He’s not going to damage the POTUS. It’s newsworthy, so it’s being reported if a bit tersely.

Yep - we now know it was Bannon himself. It was not Priebus - Bannon was fired for disloyalty - Priebus due to not being competent to handle the job of Chief of Staff.

“This is FAKE NEWS. Trump has not tweeted anything about Bannon recently. Stop buying into what you already know are fake news outlets.”

In what way is this fake?

Yep. And they sure as hell rushed to certify the election results as well, even though there was some pretty good proof of voter fraud.

The definition of ‘taking one for the team,’ is *not* publicizing “trashy tabloid fiction,” that Trump has condemned. That’s not what the expression means.

He’s reporting on the “trashy tabloid fiction” while quoting the people who call it “trashy tabloid fiction” if memory serves.

The only ‘evidence’ of Bannon saying that is a quote from someone with a book to sell.

Healthy skepticism is always appropriate.

Isn’t it a crime to leak. If they know Bannon was the leaker, maybe they should make sure he pays the price for it.
