From the opening bell on November the 7th, 2016, the day before the General Election, through the close on December 29th, 2017, the DJIA rose over 38%.
The day before the GE, the DJIA went up 375 points. It didn’t do it because Hillary was expected to win. The market went up over 10% in the final 7 weeks of 2016. It had gone up only 3.4% January 1st until November 4th of that year.
Trump can only be called a human dynamo based on the stock market’s meteoric rise.
I found some talk of the market rise under Obama after Trump was elected. They gave Obama all the credit for that rise. They talked about it in terms of a record series of new highs, unseen in the 120 year history of the exchange.
Not once have they spoken of the new records under Trump in those glowing terms. “Eh, another record. So what!”
Trump doesn’t get nearly the credit he deserves.
All those predictions were wishful thinking, or deliberate prophesies of doom stemming from their hatred for D. Trump. All the predictors should now be issuing apologies in the leftist rags that printed their rantings. But they won’t. The media establishment has buried those predictions, and will never refer to them ever again.
I am so excited to report that I am taking my very first trip to the White House next week for a tour with a fellow freeper! Hoping beyond all hope that I meet the president and I’m able to thank him in person for all that he has done so far for our country. No surprise to this voter, as I’ve believed in this man’s skill, tenacity and vision since he hit the scene in New York back in the late 70s early 80s, but it would be such an honor and privilege to meet our president and be able to say “thank you” in person. Wish me luck!
