> a poor harvest, a drought and international sanctions have left the government with reduced food rations.
And it has nothing to do with communism?
so much for that
If this did turn into a conventional war I wonder how many of those troops would surrender to the South Korean forces if given the chance to do so?
If true, maybe we should have a massive tailgate party next to the DMZ and offer a free steak dinner to every North Korean that defects to the South. Suspect at least half NK’s army would surrender to the South within 24 hours. Kind of hard to fight a war when all they guys you expect to fight and die for your side are sitting with the enemy fat and happy.
And now for making Dear Leader look bad, they will be shot.
Put a couple hundred meat smokers on the border and wait for the wind to blow north. Announce free food if they surrender.
If they are eating plain untreated corn out of the field the nutritional value is very low. That’s what causes pellagra. Corn has to be soaked in lime-water (alkaline) to release nutritional elements necessary for human consumption. Tortilla dough and hominy have all been treated with lime-water in the grain before cooking. then it is nutritious. Poor fellows.
For the first time in modern history, our sanctions on someone are actually working as intended. Trump is more than just talk.
Seems like should war ever come, those fighting the Norks wouldn’t need to do very much except set up free food stands and yell “Come and get it!” in Korean ...
Uh oh. Hide Fido
