In essence, the Clintons created the Russian angle out of thin air; and the FBI and DOJ used that creation as the legal underpinning for the counterintelligence operation.
The cointel op was always just a ruse for wiretapping, surveillance and monitoring of Donald Trump campaign officials.
If Hillary was elected, the entire counterintelligence operation just disappears into the ether. No-one would ever know about it.

Sessions is the point man killing the investigations. Sessions is more guilty than even the Clintons. The Clintons are in this for hundreds of millions of dollars. That I can understand. Sessions is subverting the republic to maintain an unconstitutional shadow government. In my mind Sessions actions are much more treacherous. Sessions is not just sleepy or dumb. No one could be that stupid.
LOL! Mine was born in Holland, came to the U.S. as a small boy. He worked on the New York Central Railroad as a laborer most of his life. He was a tough old man. Very loving, but don’t tick him off. He’s been gone since ‘78, and I still miss him.
As Mrs. Cleaver said to her husband, Ward over coffee at the breakfast table: “You were a little hard on the Beaver last night!”
Sessions is not just sleepy or dumb. No one could be that stupid.

Or that weak. No one could be that passive and ineffective in such a position unless it is intentional.
Gee Wally, how come I’m stuck here and most politicians are still walking around free?
So can Trump. Remember the Kennedy Papers?
Before inauguration, Nunes was on Trump's executive committee of his transition team. Before that, Nunes was Trump's (only) California guy during the general election. Nunes traveled with Trump in California.
Great reminder, I had forgotten. Based on how this has played out so far, Nunes is arguably Trump's foremost supporter in Congress. And Trump is known for rewarding loyalty, especially when the cause is just.
However, I do seem to recall that many of the convictions were for perjury. The threat of conviction for perjury and subsequent hard time created the atmosphere that, among other things, encouraged John Dean to spill his guts about what had been happening.
In the present case, we may not yet have all the suspected conspirators on record under oath. There appear to be a couple dozen players deeply involved in a conspiracy to subvert the election and subsequently involved in a conspiracy to falsely accuse the President and his team.
Do you think Trump is incompetent? Do you think Trump is stupid? Do you think Trump is compromised?
If your answer to all three question is "No", then all will eventually turn out well. He's done pretty well so far and he has my full support. Despite doubts about Muller's intentions, the story does appear to be getting out. I'm keeping the popcorn handy and looking forward to hearing from all these conspirators while they are being questioned before Congress under oath. By the time they get to Hillary she will take the fifth.
Hillary will take a whole case of fifths, legal and material.
